PAGCOR Photography Contest 2025
The competition will commence on February 1, 2025, starting fifteen days earlier than last year’s edition. Open to all amateur and professional Filipino photographers aged 16 and above, this year’s theme, “Infrastructure for Economic Development,” seeks to highlight the crucial role of infrastructure in fostering connectivity, trade, job creation, and inclusive growth across the country.
PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco emphasized the contest’s focus on showcasing significant infrastructure developments such as highways, bridges, seaports, airports, water and flood control systems, power plants, green energy facilities, and digital connectivity projects.

Three Categories for Participation
Photographers may submit their entries under three distinct categories:
- Conventional Category: Featuring images captured using digital cameras, including Single Lens Reflex (SLR), compact, point-and-shoot, bridge, mirrorless, and rugged cameras.
- Mobile Category: Showcasing photos taken with smartphones, tablets, action cameras, and 360-degree cameras.
- Drone Category: Highlighting aerial photographs captured via drone-mounted cameras.
Exciting Prizes for Winners A total of eight grand winners will be selected from each category, with the following prizes:
- Conventional Category: Php100,000 and a trophy for the winners.
- Mobile and Drone Categories: Php50,000 and a trophy for the winners.
- Non-winning finalists will also be rewarded:
- Php35,000 each for the Conventional Category
- Php20,000 each for the Mobile and Drone Categories
